Tower of Silence: Lost and Found and Lost Again

Well, I found it, right HERE, unfortunately I can't access it. Sort of like it's adrift in the Superman Phantom Zone. Weird ... well, whatever happened to it, it's contents were erased before being sent to the prison/exile zone. That was some small mercy, anyway.

This is the only remaining fragment of the entryway to the Tower. Translated, it reads:

Pray enter, and as you the griever, the commentator,
pass through descending years and places,
unto even eons and worlds, cast a thanksgiving tiding
that you are not one of the countless
who have been etched within the eternal walls
of this ever rising tower of memory, loss and remorse.
To begin, we must take that first fateful step.
Though do have a care, the way can be quite treacherous...
